Policies ensure that Colby Community College operates with appropriate administrative governance, oversight, and control. Policies are formal directives concerning the institution's day-to-day operation and administration. All students, employees, vendors/contractors, and campus visitors must comply with the policies while on campus or at college-sponsored events.

Ultimate policymaking authority rests with the Colby Community College Board of Trustees. The college president has policymaking authority concerning matters not explicitly addressed by the Board's policies or resolutions. Policymaking authority may be delegated in general, categorically, or concerning particular matters.

Colby Community College reserves the right to revise, supplement, or rescind any policies or procedures deemed appropriate in its sole and absolute discretion. Employees will be notified via email of such changes as they occur.
