In accordance with HB 2105, Colby Community College does not condition admission or educational aid to an applicant for admission, hiring an applicant for employment or hiring, reappointing or promoting a faculty member, on the applicant's or faculty member's pledging allegiance to or making a statement of personal support for or opposition to any political ideology or movement, including a pledge or statement regarding diversity, equity or inclusion, or to request or require any such pledge or statement from an applicant or faculty member.
The College does not require any form of DEI pledge, allegiance, or oath. Colby Community College does not require employees or students to participate in any form of DEI training.
The College prominently displays a notice of non-discrimination on its website, and the statement is utilized in all job advertisements. Colby Community College greatly values everyone and is committed to serving all individuals.

Colby Community College offers Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in Beef Production, Equine Management, Associate Degree Nursing (R.N.), Practical Nursing (L.P.N.), Physical Therapist Assistant (P.T.A.), Alternative Energy and Veterinary Nursing. Colby Community College applies an open access policy, with program admission based upon the completion of applicable course/testing prerequisites. Lack of English skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in CTE programs.

Colby Community College is committed to protecting the rights of students, informing the CCC community about FERPA, and ensuring that the College handles educational records and directory information in a secure manner consistent with Federal regulations. Colby Community College has adopted a policy statement to maintain compliance with the FERPA, to insure the rights of students are protected, and to give guidance to faculty and staff as to the appropriate procedure when handling student records. These guidelines are available in the Registrar’s Office.
Eligible students who believe that Colby Community College is not complying with the requirements of the FERPA may file complaints in writing to:
