Colby has an open admission policy, which means a student needs to hold a high school diploma or GED to get started on this exciting journey. You can begin the process by referencing the Application Checklist, as well as the other resource links.

If you are just beginning, make sure you apply for admission so we can provide the information you need. International students have a separate application process.

Colby Community College is coordinated by the Kansas Board of Regents and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The most recent site visit was October 5-6, 2020.

Admissions Department Mission Statement

To educate and inform prospective students of the many opportunities Colby Community College has to offer them.  We work as a team to attain optimum enrollment and provide knowledge and guidance to all.  We continue to explore new avenues to reach the most students possible while maintaining a "students first" approach.
