STEM and Technical Education
Pathways
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM degrees are increasingly valuable due to their high earning potential and job stability in various fields. The skills learned in these disciplines offer versatility, preparing graduates for a wide range of careers and contributing to robust job growth in traditional and non-traditional STEM fields.
Technical education curriculums provide students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and develop skills they will use throughout their careers.
Colby Community College offers several academic pathways to pursue a career in STEM-related majors or technical education through two-year transfer, two-year applied science, and one-year certificate opportunities.
