Colby Community College announced the appointment of Jenny Tompkins as assistant director of outreach education. She transitioned internally from her role as a CCC admissions counselor.

“Outreach is a good fit for Jenny’s skill-set,” said Dr. George McNulty, Vice President of Student Affairs. “We look forward to her opportunity to excel in all facets of the position.”

Tompkins has an extensive background in retail management and service industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in Spanish from Fort Hays State University. Currently, she is a student in the Master of Business Administration program at Western Governors University.

She began her outreach responsibilities January 4.
