How are Endowed Scholarships Different from Other Scholarships at CCC?

Scholarships from the Endowment are funded by generous donors. We’ve also just completed our biggest scholarship campaign ever, with new scholarships being added regularly! This is an exciting time to join CCC and benefit from the growing financial support for deserving students. These scholarships are granted based on various criteria, such as your Program of Study, GPA, or Residence. Furthermore, applicants will need to take a few moments to answer some short response questions on the scholarship application. Providing thoughtful and inspiring answers to these questions will enhance your overall score! Remember, submitting your application before the first priority deadline is crucial, as it significantly impacts your scholarship consideration alongside your overall score. To get started, simply head over to C3 Scholar through your Trojan ePortal.

Students must complete a full application with short answer responses in order to be scored and considered for Endowment Foundation scholarships. These applications are confidential. All personal and identifying information is redacted prior to the review process.

Here are some friendly tips to help you enhance your application:

  1. Highlight Achievements: Clearly highlight your academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Use specific examples to demonstrate your leadership, community involvement, and any unique talents or skills you possess.
  2. Craft a Compelling Response to Each Question: Share your story with authenticity. Explain what inspires you, your future goals, and how this scholarship will help you achieve them. Be genuine and let your passion shine through. Please provide your own personal answers. Answers that were fully generated by ChatGPT or other AI Programs are not allowed and will result in a lower overall score.
  3. Proofread Thoroughly: Ensure your application is free from grammatical errors and typos. Consider having a parent, friend, or teacher review your submission to provide feedback.

FIRST PRIORITY DEADLINE FOR FALL 2026/SPRING 2027 SCHOLARSHIPS IS DECEMBER 31, 2025! Applications open in OCTOBER 2025
