The Colby Community College Veterinary Technology Program was recently notified by the Kansas Board of Regents that the program was awarded a $40,000 Excellence in Technical Education Award.

“The college purchased a Companion CTS-15SX Therapy Laser, an Abaxis HM5c Hematology System, and FitPaws Physical Therapy Equipment with the award money,” said program director Dr. Jennifer Martin.

The award from KBOR is in recognition of significant accomplishments in the Veterinary Technology program.

Instructors in the program include Dr. Martin, Dr. Cathy McMulkin, Dr. Shad Clymer, Dr. Beth Fenton, Sadie Kenney and Melissa Vogt.  The CCC program is offered on-campus and online.
