Friday Colby Community College served 176 people for lunch during a barbecue to benefit Ruby Brungardt, wife of CCC employee Virgil Brungardt.

“Colby Community College is thrilled to see the outpouring of support for Virgil’s family. We live in a wonderful community and events like this remind us how much people care for one another,” said president Seth Carter.

Those contributing services and donations to the barbecue include B-Hive Bar and Grill, the CCC baseball team, Chartwells Food Service, Dillons, J & B Meat Market, Rita Billips, Penny Cline, and Lisa Failla.
