Some concern has been expressed about the women’s basketball team traveling to Frisco, Tex., near Dallas and the men’s team participating in a tournament in Dallas this weekend.  After researching the disease, the college has decided to adhere to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control. 

Ebola doesn't spread easily like the flu, a cold or measles. The virus isn't airborne. Instead, it's in a sick person's bodily fluids, such as blood, vomit, urine, semen or saliva. In addition, sweat has not been identified as a carrier of the disease. Bodily fluids aren't contagious until the infected person begins to feel sick. The CDC supplied this flyer as a means of disseminating the information.

The CDC is not restricting travel to Dallas or Omaha, Nebraska where another Ebola patient is being treated.
