The Colby Community College Collegiate Farm Bureau organization hosted Keith Kennedy from Custom Ag Solutions earlier this month. Kennedy presented a risk management Monte Carlo simulation called 'Farming is Risky Business.”
At the conclusion of the simulation, students who recorded the most profit for their simulated farm/ranch operations were recognized.
Nick L'Ecuyer won a cash prize for the most profit.
The Farm Bureau group is sponsored by Equestrian Production instructor Shanda Mattix. She is also the head coach of the Equestrian Team.
