Forty-one new members of the Rho Iota Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Colby Community College were inducted into the international honor society on Saturday, April 5.  Phi Theta Kappa is the largest Honor Society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members and over 1,200 recognized chapters.  The primary purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship, learning and academic achievement among two-year college students.

Membership is based on grade point averages and other criteria with members focusing on scholastic achievement and service to community and campus.

Brown, Erica Cusnariov, Abby Ford, Shelby Grosberger, Sarah Harrison, Kara Heier, Anna Hickert, KaiLee Homburg, Emily Johnston, Kenadee Kogl, Karly Kriss, Halsie Large, Taryn Lee, Cameron Lee, Darla Lovelady, Hannah Nickelson, McKenna Ortner, Weston Paslay, Luis Felipe Pujol, Daniel Quintana, Norma Redburn, Andjela Reljic, Alicia Ridlen, Abigayil Russ, Mutiara Salulimbong, Dolvine Serem, Sean Skiles, Karis Sperling, Kyle Summers, Kassandra Swisher, Grace Tendean, Sarah Wagner, Brittany Wilson, and Michael Woofter.

Officers for 2013-14 are Konnor Kriss, President; Alyse Dumler, Vice President; Jaydon Bixenman, Treasurer; and Ariel Severson, Public Relations.
