Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach will be at Colby Community College at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the Robert Burnett Student Union as part of an initiative to expand access to lifesaving overdose-reversal medication amid the ongoing opioid crisis. His stop will include the deployment of a naloxone (Narcan) distribution box.

Naloxone is used to treat opioid overdoses caused by drugs like fentanyl, heroin, oxycodone, and morphine. Kobach’s office plans to install 40 distribution boxes across the state, primarily to universities, colleges, and community colleges.

Every host site receives ongoing support, including box refills and assistance as needed.
