COLBY – "Situational Awareness on Steroids" is the topic of a special presentation by 2ProtectFamily in the criminology class taught by Michaela Kaus on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 10:50 a.m. to noon in Room 706 of Colby Community College’s Bedker Memorial Complex. The event is open to the public, but participants are encouraged to register in advance to receive handouts.

Barry and Glenn Kaaz, both certified instructors through the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), will lead the seminar. The focus will be on the importance of situational awareness in today's rapidly changing and sometimes dangerous environment. Attendees learn how being alert can provide time and opportunities to avoid or escape potential threats to themselves and their loved ones.
