Colby Community College ranks third on the Best 15 Online Associate in Liberal Arts Programs list released by Best Value Schools, a higher education resource for students and parents. The research reviewed colleges that offer a liberal arts degree entirely online.

A point system was used to rank schools on tuition and student-to-faculty ratio. CCC's in-state online tuition is $141 per credit hour, with about 18 students for every faculty member.

In recent years, CCC made substantial progress in growing ColbyConnect, the college's online platform, with 24-hour tutoring and enhanced advising for distance learning. The institution is frequently among the best for graduation and retention rates in Kansas.
