Colby Community College announced rosters for the 25th Annual Northwest Kansas All-Star Basketball Classic on April 8 at the Colby Community Building. The games featuring high school senior players begin with the women at 4 p.m. and the men’s game following at approximately 6 p.m.

Following are the players and the high schools they represent: 

Women’s Light Team – Lauren Baalman (Oakley), Kylie Crist (Quinter), Brittney Walt (Quinter), Lauren Jones (Hill City), Hannah Brandl (Greeley County), Rachel Keltz (Cheylin), Peyton Havlas (Quinter), Sydni Allen (Wallace County) and Rebekah Castle (Hoxie).>

Women’s Dark Team – Micaela Ibarra (Greeley County), Lilly Schamberger (Hoxie), Maeson Dewey (Plainville), Conner Keith (Hill City), Carrie Kennedy (Hill City), Chaylee Lowry (Northern Valley), Hanna Bracelin (St. Francis), Brianna Johns (Northern Valley) and Elle McDaniel (Goodland).

Coaches for the women are Matt Havlas from Quinter High School and Scott City High School’s Sarah McCormick.

Men’s Light Team – David McFarland (Thomas More Prep-Marian), Dallas Seader (Weskan), Colton Greving (Logan), Caden Kinderknecht (Northern Valley), Braden Leitner (Rawlins County), Peyton Sieck (Goodland), Diego Davila (Lakin), Jordan Horn (Scott City) and  Nick Withington (Rawlins County).

Men’s Dark Team –Kole Breth (Decatur Community), Blake Bouchey (Palco), Dawson Raymer (Goodland), Jace Engel (Oakley), Easton Slipke (Hoxie), Garrett Handley (Hill City), Latham Schwarz (Hoxie), Chandler Ostmeyer (Wheatland-Grinnell), Hunter Kirby (Lakin) and Jordan Ford (Phillipsburg).

Ryan Marvin of Rawlins County High School and Jake Moss from Hoxie High School are the men’s coaches.
