Exhibit 11: Overload Rationale Form

Form used to document and approve course assignments that exceed the 15-hour Normal Professional Workload, including course need, delivery method, instructor impact, and required approvals.

The purpose of this form is to ensure the intent of the Master Agreement is followed and that the best interests of all involved parties are considered in decisions requiring a faculty load increase above the 15-hour Normal Professional Workload.

Any course exceeding the 15-hour Normal Professional Workload requires completion of this form and permission by the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Online Learning before it is placed in the line schedule. The only exception is an unforeseen staffing change needed for a course already on the schedule.
