Marty Fear teaches agriculture classes at CCC.

A native of Sutherland, Neb., Marty was raised on a diversified farm and commercial cattle operation. He has always been heavily involved in animal agriculture. Starting at a young age, he was involved in 4-H and showed cattle and lambs at the county, state, and national levels. He attended Colby Community College and Oklahoma State University, obtaining a B.S. in Animal Science and competing on the livestock judging team at both institutions. He went on to pursue an M.S. in Ag Education & Leadership at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Following graduation, he started his career as Extension Agent for North Dakota State University and Kansas State University. He lives in northwest Kansas, raising and selling Simmental cattle and club lambs. Marty continues to be heavily involved with showing livestock and attending livestock shows with family and friends.
