Chrissy Summers serves as the Director of Student Health and Campus Registered Nurse at Colby Community College, where she advances the institution’s mission through student-centered health services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement.

A proud alumna of Colby Community College, she is deeply committed to student success and supporting the overall well-being of the campus community. Her academic responsibilities include clinical instruction and preceptorship, evaluation of student academic performance, and teaching nutrition, CPR, First Aid, and emergency response.

In her leadership role, Chrissy oversees campus student health services and contributes to institutional planning related to emergency preparedness, infection control, and campus safety. She works collaboratively with college leadership, faculty, staff, and community partners to promote health and wellness, ensure regulatory compliance, and support institutional risk management.

She is also actively involved in campus life, supporting athletics, the college food pantry, and the student-led Project Eden initiative, reinforcing CCC’s commitment to holistic student development and community connection.

Her clinical background includes experience in emergency response, obstetrics, labor and delivery, and physical, mental, and behavioral health. She remains dedicated to lifelong learning and continued professional growth.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with family and her two children.
