Faculty Profile

Robbyn Lamb is an English instructor at Colby Community College and a proud U.S. Army veteran. As a non-traditional student, she returned to college at the age of 40, bringing a unique perspective and life experience to her career in education.

Robbyn started teaching grades 7-12 in 2007 at St. Cecilia Schools in Hastings, Nebraska. In the fall of 2012, she relocated to Ludell, Kansas, and joined Colby Community College as a full-time English instructor. She served in that role through December 2025, helping students strengthen their writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.

After moving back to Nebraska for personal reasons, she continues her work with CCC as an adjunct instructor. She teaches Zoom-based high school dual-credit courses and online English courses, and serves as a Zoom instructor for the Norton Correctional Facility.
