Beef Production
Associate of Applied Science

Beef production students gain a unique experience through hands-on learning at the college's farm. Students within the program help with all aspects of managing both a registered and commercial cow/calf herd at the CCC Beef Unit during the school year. Valuable skills and relationships are maintained with students becoming Al, BQA, & OSHA certified, managing a performance bull test and sale, and obtaining skills in transrectal ultrasound for pregnancy detection. We strive to forge strong connections with our students and members of the Ag industry, specifically the cattle industry, to allow them to have the most success in their futures!
