Adalaide Kline

Adalaide Kline serves as the Beef Program Director at Colby Community College, where she is passionate about developing the next generation of agricultural leaders and advocates. In addition to leading the Beef Program, she advises the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and co-advises the CCC Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapter alongside Shanda Mattix. Kline is committed to mentoring students and helping them build meaningful connections within the agriculture industry.

Kline grew up near the Kansas City area and was heavily involved in her family’s seedstock operation, Chair Rock Ranch, located in Greeley, Kansas. The ranch raised nationally recognized Angus genetics and partnered with Gardiner Angus Ranch, sending bulls to the GAR April Sale and hosting an annual female sale each spring. Notable genetics connected to the operation include G A R Surefire, G A R Ashland, and G A R Prophet K263.

Her passion for the beef industry was shaped early by the influence of her father and grandfather and solidified during a semester-long internship at Gardiner Angus Ranch in 2019. That experience strengthened her commitment to remaining involved in the beef industry and provided opportunities to learn from and connect with industry leaders.

Kline earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Business with a minor in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University. While at OSU, she was a member of the Cowgirl Soccer team and completed her degree in three years. She continued her academic and athletic career at South Dakota State University, where she earned a master’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Beef Reproductive Physiology. During her time at SDSU, she served as team captain of the Jackrabbit Soccer team for two seasons.

Her graduate research focused on pregnancy detection methods in cattle and provided opportunities to work with producers from multiple segments of the beef industry. Kline is excited to share both her knowledge and industry connections with students and community members while helping advance the CCC Beef Program and herd.
